In Triviality of the Modern Ant, I have photographed strangers with the overpowering presence of looming architecture which seems to be always near. I am fascinated with the interaction of people and their respective environment. A city, for example, responds to people with an almost foreboding nature. Buildings tower over small dots of humanity and remind us of our inconsequential nature. It is the humble feeling I receive from these giants that I wish to evoke within my viewers.
